Welcome to Carver Brittanys.  We are Brittany Breeders and we are located in SD(about 3 1/2 hours from Minneapolis , MN ).

What We Do

Our goal is to preserve the "dual" ability of the Brittany.  What this means is that our dogs are able to hit the show ring one day and the field the next and do both with style.  We want to avoid the separation of field lines and show lines in the Brittany.  There are over 500 dual champion Brittanys, more than any other breed by a long shot.

What's New?

Reno has finished his CH title with 3 majors and 15 points!!!

Reno has had a stellar first year in the field..  He has proven himself to be the high caliber dog that we had hoped and dreamed for.  He had many rock solid points, Retrieves to hand 95% of the time and even had a 50+ yard freezing cold water retrieve, directly back to hand (he is only 16 months old).  Reno had well over 350 pheasants shot over him this season.  We can't wait for next year, as he will only get better.  Oh, Boy!!

The natural ability of this dog is absolutely extraordinary!

Reno took Winners Dog and Best of Winners to finish his show championship (6/19/08) under Dr. Anthony DiNardo at the Anoka County Kennel Club Show in Cambridge, MN

Reno took Winners Dog at the Lake Minnetonka Kennel Club Show today (6/7/08) under Mrs. Christina Hubbell.  This is Reno's 3rd Major Win....back to back major wins today and yesterday!!!

Reno took Winners Dog at the Minnesota Brittany Specialty today (6/6/08) under Mrs. Terry Carter.  This is Reno's 2nd Major Win.

Reno's latest endeavor was a photo shoot for Target, advertising Woolrich Dog Beds, watch for the ad in the Target Print Ad in the Sunday Paper sometime in the next 5-6 months!

UPDATE:  APPARENTLY, WOOLRICH THOUGHT RENO'S PICTURE WAS TOO GOOD FOR THE PRINT AD AND ENDED UP PUTTING HIM ON THE ACTUAL PACKAGING FOR THE DOG BED.  12/26/08. 

Reno placed 4th in the Amateur Walking Derby at the LaSalle Field Trial on Saturday, March 30th.  He also placed 4th in the Intermediate Dog Class at the Central Futurity.  Way to go Reno!
